Software terms.
Licence
Excel Link Detective includes a Free mode; a valid Pro purchase grants a perpetual licence for its paid workbook-modification features. Folder Space Detective includes a Free mode and a 14-day Pro trial; a valid Pro purchase grants a perpetual licence for the paid Pro features, subject to the activation/device limit shown for that product at purchase. Neither product is sold as a subscription.
Updates
Unless the checkout states otherwise, a perpetual licence covers the purchased major version and its 1.x-style maintenance updates. A future major-version upgrade may be offered separately without disabling the version you already licensed.
Permitted use
You may use the software for personal or legitimate business workflow purposes, subject to the licence/device limit shown at purchase. You may keep reasonable backup copies of the installer for your own licensed use.
Restrictions
You may not sell, sublicense or distribute a Pro licence key to unrelated third parties, or use the software/licensing system to bypass activation requirements.
File changes and backups
Some Friction Tamer tools can change or delete local files. The software uses conservative defaults and guarded actions where practical, but you remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important data and reviewing destructive actions before confirming them.
Compatibility
Support is focused on the Windows versions, file formats and workflows described on each product page. Not every third-party extension, protected/encrypted file, network environment or unusual filesystem configuration can be guaranteed.
Refunds and mandatory rights
Purchases and refunds are handled through the merchant of record and applicable checkout terms. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Warranty and liability
The software is provided as a productivity utility and is not a substitute for maintaining backups or independently verifying business-critical results. Any limitations of warranty or liability are subject to rights and protections that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
